When choosing the best website hosting company for your site, it is important to consider several things before making your choice. We have foud 3 sayings to hold true with regards to web hosting, "You get what you pay for"  and " You never get a second chance at a first impression."

What is Web Hosting?
Simply put, web hosting is the service that gives your site access to the internet or vice versa...it provides the portal to the world wide web (www.) for people to browse your site..  Web hosting companies provide the access to the portal as well as a place to host or"place" your website.  Web hosts also provide hardware, software, security, and support to kepp your site working for you.

When you choose hosting for your website consider the following things...

Price: While I am an advocate of being dilligent with your money.  Cheaper IS NOT always better...just cheaper.
Technical Support: Is it available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? Work week hours only?  Emial support only?  Phone support?
Features: Various internet hosting companies offer a variety of services. Make a list of what you know you want your website to do. Here are a few services you will want to consider. Set up fees, transfer fees, email aliases, site stats, contol panel, site creation tool, front page extensions, submit to search engines, sub domains, multiple domain discounts.
Allocated Resources: This should be THE most important factor when looking for a web host...even more important than price. Make sure the Host Provider allocates your disk space and bandwidth directly to your account and does not "over-sell" their services.
Bandwidth: This is how much data you transfer to and from your site.  Certainly one of the TOP 2 or three concerns when choosing a web host.
Disk Space: This is the amount of space your site will ocuupy...more IS always better...but in the grand scheme of things only the 3rd or 4th most important concern
E-mail accounts: How many e-mail accounts do you need? You'll probably need one for each employee and one for each department (sales, accounts, support). Make sure you purchase a hosting plan that has enough e-mail accounts. Also, do you want full POPS access,Web-based e- mail, or both?
E-commerce: Will you be selling goods or services through your site? If not, there's no need to sign up for an e-commerce web hosting service. If you are, e-commerce web hosting services such as shopping cart software, SSL support and a merchant account will be vital.
Speed: You need to know how fast your web host can provide access to your visitors.
Uptime: This may be the most important thing when choosing the best web hosting company. You can not make money if your web site is down.
Security: Is your data and your clients data secure? both from local intruders and hackers?  By what measures?
Redundancy: Is your data being backed up?  What happens in case of a major failure?
The Oops Factor: What happens if you go over your alloted quotas?

If you don't know the answers to these questions...you NEED to find out! These are critiacal concerns that can dramaticall impact you, your site, your clients, and your bottom-line.

We we do not practice "Overselling " unlike most of our competitors. We are happy to back it up in writing and put our money where our mouth is.  It is in on page 2 section 4 of our Web Hosting Agreement & Terms of Service .
